U.S./Canada: 4:00 pm EDST, 3:00 pm CDST, 2:00 pm MDST, 1:00 pm PDST

We will be visiting the 5 highest mountains in Washington State along with stops to visit adjacent airports.

The 5 highest peaks in Washington State are as follows:

1. Mount Rainier: USGS Mount Rainier West: 14,411 ft (4,392 m).
2. Mount Adams: USGS Mount Adams East: 12,276 ft (3,742 m).
3. Little Tahoma Peak: USGS Mount Rainier East: 11,138 ft (3,395 m). Note: Little Tahoma Peak is actually a satellite peak of Mount Rainier. It is considered to be distinctive enough to be considered a separate mountain.
4. Mount Baker: USGS Mount Baker: 10,775 ft (3,395 m).
5. Glacier Peak: USGS Glacier Peak East: 10,541 ft (3,213 m).

Fly-in Itinerary:
20:00 UTC: All members should be in the multiplayer session. Please park your aircraft in the general aviation parking areas. Please do not enter the multiplayer session on the runway.

20:05 UTC: We promptly begin pushback and taxi to the runway for immediate departure.

We will begin our Fly-in at Bellingham Int'l Airport (KBLI).

Leg 1 To Mount Baker: 10,775 ft (3,395 m)

  • Depart Bellingham Int'l Airport (KBLI).
  • Turn to Heading 071° when able.
  • Fly approximately 29nm for Mount Baker fly-by.
  • Then, turn to Heading 151° and fly approximately 15nm to Concrete Municipal (3W5).
  • Arrive Concrete Municipal (3W5)     Distance KBLI - 3W5: 44nm

 Leg 2  To Glacier Peak: 10,541 ft (3,213 m)

  • Depart Concrete Municipal (3W5)
  • Turn to Heading 114° when able.
  • Fly approximately 36nm for Glacier Peak fly-by.
  • Then, turn to Heading 118° and fly approximately 24nm to Lake Wenatchee State (27W).
  • Arrive Lake Wenatchee State (27W)     Distance 3W5 - 27W: 59.5nm

 Leg 3  To Mount Rainier: 14,411 ft (4,392 m)

  • Depart Lake Wenatchee State (27W)
  • Turn to Heading 197° when able.
  • Fly approximately 71.5nm for Mount Rainier fly-by.
  • Then, turn to heading 147° and fly approximately 16nm to Packwood (55S)
  • Arrive Packwood (55S)     Distance 27W - 55S: 87.3nm

 Leg 4  To Mount Adams: 12,276 ft (3,742 m)

  • Depart Packwood (55S)
  • Turn to Heading 143° when able.
  • Fly approximately 25nm for Mount Adams fly-by
  • Then, turn to Heading 166° and fly approximately 12nm to Trout Lake (66WA).
  • Arrive Trout Lake (66WA)     Distance 55S - 66WA: 37.4nm

Total Fly-in Distance: 228.2nm
